These modified pipes were developed by Bob Boig, former nationally competitive E-Production and GT-3 Miata racer, to address the need for racetrack and neighborhood friendly sound level. The outstanding feature is the baffled design with no packing to blow out. These side pipes will be as quiet after years of use as they are the day you installed them.

Have we made them too quiet? Maybe. Bob runs the final developmental set of pipes on his 428 Powered FFR roadster. During our test drive we were able to talk at normal levels and hear each-other at near full throttle acceleration and at 70mph cruise.

These pipes are made to order using your existing or a donor set of side pipes.
We use the front four-tube assembly back to and including the collector. You can cut off the muffler and turnout section (cut through the muffler section leaving inch of muffler so the pros can trim the collector nice and square) to make packing easier and shipping less expensive.

Pipes will be returned with all coatings removed from the area of the new welds.

Plan for 2 - 3 weeks from the time we receive your pipes until delivery. Add a week for transit time if you are on the west coast.

Notes:
- Sidepipes are shown silver ceramic coated with heat shields.
- Pipes are delivered bare steel without heat shields. Photo is to show length and turnout angle.
- Pipes come with MkIII style two-hole mounting tab. Note in special instructions if you need a Mk2 style mounting arm.
- Pipes are 2” longer than the standard FFR supplied side exhaust.
